LIFE IS A RISK

Have you noticed that there is nothing safe in life? Life is a risk and every decision or action we take is a risk. Let’s start from the scratch. After secondary school, you decided to try JAMB and WAEC, you knew you could fail or pass, so you took the risk, you wrote the exam and you probably passed. 

After entering the university, you attended lectures, knowing you either pass them or fail them. You passed some and failed some. You took the risk of writing again and you passed. Our academics is a risk, what is the probability that we will find a befitting job? You finished university, you have been hearing the gist of how first class degree holders sit at home doing nothing, playing on the street, yet you took the risk, entered the labor force, and got a job.

You started your job knowing well of the risk that comes with it, less pay, more time at work, less time from family, jealous coworker, flirty coworker, boss harassment etc. Let’s say you decided to start a business, this is one of the very popular risks, what if you start and it fails, your business does not move and you are stuck. Needless of all this you started the business, now are you are rich.

Continuing in the journey of life, you get married. Marriage is a very big risk. What if you cheat, you are not faithful, you end up being a bad partner or you fail in being a good example for your children.

Look ehn, in this life you can’t do without facing risks, all the decision we take in life are all risky. Don’t stop because the risk is too much. I believe that anything that seems very risky tend to always have a very good results. Don’t let fear overshadow your decisions. Imagine if you were not afraid, what will you have done? Now, those things you would have done, start doing them from now, fear will always be there. Just know that when you are getting afraid and the road seems scary, you are getting somewhere. That is one of the key things you learn from animations and horror movies.
